Margreets return
The treatments are effective and Margreet is feeling a bit better again. Starting Wednesday, September 2, she will be working a few hours on Wednesday afternoons. She will mainly treat babies, children, and the elderly (physically lighter work). Were you under treatment with Margreet and would you like to be treated by her again? Please let the assistant know so that we can consult with Margreet. For most patients, it will be more convenient to continue treatments with Imke or Sjoerd.
If you are curious how Margreet is doing, you can follow her on Instagram: ongeneeslijklangleven.

Farewell to assistant Corine and the arrival of Jennifer
Our assistant Corine retired on August 1st. Jennifer Voogt has joined our team. To mark the occasion, the entire team went out for a bite to eat on the beach. We are going to miss Corine a lot and we thank her for her dedication over the past 4 years.
Chiropractic care for babies
Chiropractors Imke and Margreet have extensive experience treating babies. Sometimes the cause of the complaints can be traced back to the birth or the child’s position in the womb. Because a baby cannot indicate where the discomfort is located, it is expressed in other ways. Below are a number of examples:
- excessive crying
- irritability/restlessness/easily startled
- clenched fists
- spitting up/reflux
- arching the back
- preferred posture
- restless or short sleep
- ear infections
- grabbing at the ears or the back of the head
- poor tolerance of food
- difficulty swallowing and sucking/breastfeeding problems
- delays in developmental milestones (rolling, crawling, walking, etc.)
If you recognize any of the points from the list above, it may be beneficial to have your baby examined by a chiropractor.
Treatment
Naturally, the baby’s vulnerability is taken into account during treatment. Chiropractic treatment for babies is safe and consists of gentle pressure techniques and light mobilization techniques. The pressure used is no more than what feels comfortable on your eyeball. Babies of all ages can be treated.
