September Jubilee Month!
Chiropractie Wassenaar is celebrating its 30th anniversary on September 1st! This month also marks the 15th anniversary of Margreet becoming the practice owner and the 25th anniversary of her graduation. Time for a celebration!
The practice’s history began in 1995, when American chiropractor Glenn founded it. In 1996, Danish chiropractor Ulla Svane took over the practice. Several of the current patients started working with Ulla back then, when the practice was still located on Van Zuylen van Nijeveltstraat. In 2000, chiropractor Lene Fich, also from Denmark, took over the practice. Ten years later, she decided to move back to her home country, after which the current practice owner, Margreet Leemhuis, took over the practice.
Due to the growth of the practice and the increasing recognition of chiropractic care, including the treatment of back and neck complaints, Chiropractie Wassenaar moved to its current location on Starrenburglaan in 2013. This location allows for multiple chiropractors to work simultaneously. Chiropractor Imke van Loon has also been part of the team since 2019.
The team recently expanded with a third chiropractor: Sjoerd Crooijmans. He grew up in Wassenaar and says he finds it special to be able to help patients in his familiar surroundings.
Thanks to the expansion, the practice is now open five days a week, with evening consultations on Thursdays. Wait times have been reduced thanks to the larger team. The three permanent assistants, Myriam, Corine, and Tessa, have been creating a personal and familiar atmosphere in the practice for years, which is appreciated by many patients.
To celebrate the anniversary, a small surprise for every patient will be available at the practice in September.
